AAP Govt to implement transparent mining police in Punjab: Harjot Bains

Cabinet Minister Sh.Harjot Singh Bains on Saturday visited in the district Rupnagar. On this occasion a guard of honor was given to the Cabinet Minister by the police contingent at District Administrative Complex, Rupnagar.
Addressing the media, he said that Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would work sincerely for the welfare of the people. He said that Instructions have been issued to all the Deputy Commissioners and SSPs of the state to conduct demarcation of all the places which were allotted for mining and to take action to prevent illegal mining at any level.
He said that in order to eradicate illegal mining, the mining wing of ED has been made fully operational. He further said that a new policy would be implemented soon for the smooth running of mining under which the money which earlier went in to account of illegal miners would now come to the Punjab government which would be spent on the development of the state.
He said that our main objective was to extend all welfare schemes to the people and to eradicate the mafia rule. He also assured that with the implementation of the new mining policy, no one would be able to engage in illegal mining.
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains further said that Punjab would be made a center of attraction for tourism in the country and in the world. In the first phase 50 villages of Punjab would be established as tourism spots for which the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab was working day and night.
On this occasion MLA Mr. Dinesh Kumar Chadha, MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Sonali Giri, SSP Mr. Vivek Shil Soni, SP Mr. Ankur Gupta, SDM Mr. Gurwinder Singh Johal, SDM Shri Anandpur Sahib Mr. Kesav Goyal, District Secretary Mr. Ram Kumar Mukari, District Media Incharge Mr. Sudip Vij, Mr. Surjan Singh, Mr. Manjit Singh, District President BC Wing. Bhajan Lal, Bhag Singh Madan, Pradan Kamikar Singh Dhadi, Shiv Kumar Lalpura, Ranjit Singh, Hardeep Singh Kahlo, Jasveer Singh, Ravin Babla, Event Incharge Sandeep Joshi, Inderpal Singh Satial, Sahel Singh and others were also present.
