BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa is busy mobilizing support of Sikh community for BJP throughout the country.
He had addresses more than three dozen meeting in different states where members of Sikh community are present in large number including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Haryana besides other states. BJP has also named him as star campaigner for the party.
Today he addressed meeting in Maharashtra capital Mumbai.
Addressing different gatherings, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that during last 70 years Congress gave wounds to Sikh community including attack on Sri Darbar Sahib and Sikh genocide in 1984 besides other discrimination with Sikh community.
He said that Congress awarded leaders who killed maximum Sikhs with plum posts including Kamalnath, HKL Bhagat, Sajjan Kumar and other guilty who were made Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, Member Parliament beside other plum posts.
He said that on the other hand it is Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi who provided justice to Sikh community. Sajjan Kumar and many other guilty are now in jail and cases against Jagdish Tytler and Kamalnath were in progress in different courts. He said that it was first time since 1984 that we got justice and hopeful of getting in other cases including that of Uttar Pradesh.
He said that he had always raised Sikh issues even when he was Akali Dal leader and now as Secretary of BJP. He said that what PM Modi has done for Sikh community, no one PM has done in last 70 years.
He said that PM Modi had apologized to Sikh community on three farm laws on birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji and abolished three laws.
He said that Modi had established Kartarpur Sahib corridor fulfilling 70 year old wish of Sikhs for darshan of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib and even announced to observe Veer Bal Diwas on December 26 every year in memory of younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
He said that it is first time in the history of India that history of four Sahibzade of Guru Gobind Singh is being told in every language in the country and abroad.
He said that Modi government celebrated 400th Prakash Purab of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji on that very Red fort where orders to sacrifice Guru Sahib were issued. He said that similarly we are celebrating Delhi Fateh Diwas on Red fort.
He said that as PM Modi has done so much for the Sikh community he was advocating for voting for PM Modi who is well wisher of Sikh community.
