The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa led delegation today filed an FIR with Mumbai police at Khar Police State against controversial figure Kangana Ranaut for her communal outburst against farmers and Sikh community.
In the complaint Mr. Sirsa disclosed that she is regularly spreading communal hatred in the society with her controversial social media posts.
Later led by Mr. Sirsa this delegation met Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil and briefed him about whole issue and demanded quick action against Ranaut.
Emerging from meetings, Mr. Sirsa disclosed that meeting with Home Minister was held in a very cordial atmosphere in which Mr. Patil assured the delegation that state police will take quick action as per law and anybody violating law by spreading communal hatred won’t be spread.
He also disclosed that in meeting with Sandeep P Karnik Joint Commissioner of Police West Region Mumbai, delegation apprised the police office of conduct of Kangana Ranaut and demanded that she should be immediately arrested. Delegation also emphasized that if she is mentally unstable then she should be treated in hospital and if she is a regular drug addiction then she should be lodged in de-addiction centre.
Mr. Sirsa said that Mr. Karnik has assured delegation that nobody is above law and anyone who spreads communal hatred and tries to disturb peace and harmony in society, won’t be spared.
It was disclosed to police that Kangna Ranaut posted controversial post on her Instagram in which which she has intentionally and deliberately portrayed, the Farmers Protest (Kisaan Morcha) as Khalistani Movements and further, dubbed the Sikh Community as a Khalistani Terrorists, and recalling the massacre and genocide happened during the period on 1984 and earlier, as planned and calculated move on part Smt. Indira Gandhi.
She has also used very derogatory and insulting language against the Sikh Community, as much as, she has said that they were crushed under her shoes (jooti). This act on her part is most degrading, disrespectful and contemptuous, which has hurt the sentiments of Sikh Community settled all over the world.
In written complaint the said post of Kangna Ranaut was reproduced which said, “khalistani terrorists may be arm twisting the government today….But let’s not forget the women prime minister ne inn ko apni jooti ke neeche crush kiya tha…No matter how much suffering she caused to this nation…she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life…Lekin desh ke tukde nahi hone diye…even after decades of her death …aaj bhi uske naam se kampte hain yeh…inko vaisa hi guru chahiye….”
Police was told that such posts of her were deliberately prepared and shared with criminal intention to hurt and outrage the feelings of Sikh Community. In her past records earlier also she has posted such comments which clearly indicates her hidden agenda to provoke Sikh Community and malign them.
Her personal hatred against Sikhs have been evident in her earlier posts. Now when the Farm Laws are repealed, she is bringing back 1984 reference to provoke Sikhs by saying that they are terrorists and were crushed earlier as mosquitoes under the jooti of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and deserves the same treatment as met out to them at the time of Smt. Indira Gandhi.”
