Aamir Khan ‘Threatened’ in Alleged Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’s ‘Love Jihad’ Post; Mumbai Police Verify Claim

Mumbai/New Delhi, July 18, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has reportedly received a threat through a social media post allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, prompting Mumbai Police to begin verification of the viral content.

However, police officials have clarified that neither Aamir Khan nor any member of his team has lodged a formal complaint so far.

According to Mumbai Police, the alleged threat came to their notice through media reports. Officials said they are verifying the authenticity of the purported Facebook post and other related material before deciding on further legal action.

Alleged Threat Circulates on Social Media

According to media reports, the purported post was made in the names of Aarzoo Bishnoi and Tyson Bishnoi, who claimed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi group.

The post accused Aamir Khan of promoting what it described as “love jihad” and warned that such activities would not be tolerated. It further alleged that anyone encouraging such acts under the cover of stardom would face consequences.

The authenticity of the post has not been independently verified, and police have not confirmed whether it originated from persons linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Police Yet to Receive Complaint

Sources said Mumbai Police also received information about the alleged threat through a voice note, which is being verified along with the viral social media post.

Officials said no FIR has been registered as of now. A formal case may be initiated if a complaint is received from Aamir Khan or his representatives.

References to Rajasthan Crime

The purported social media post also referred to the alleged kidnapping, trafficking and sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, praising the administration’s response while warning that anyone allegedly involved in the crime or those attempting to shield the accused would face consequences.

It also paid tribute to two persons identified as Parvesh and Himanshu, describing them as “martyrs” and vowing retaliation against the group’s alleged enemies.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’s Earlier Threats to Salman Khan

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has, in the past, publicly issued threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

The gang has repeatedly claimed it wants to target Salman Khan over the alleged killing of blackbucks during the shooting of the 1998 film Hum Saath Saath Hain near Jodhpur. Members of the Bishnoi community consider the blackbuck a sacred animal.

The gang had also claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence in April 2024 and has previously linked itself to the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, alleging that anyone closely associated with the actor could also be targeted.

Police investigations into those incidents have proceeded independently, and the present matter involving Aamir Khan remains under verification.
