Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha took a bold stand on global terrorism by exposing Pakistan’s role as a perpetrator of terror, not a victim, during his powerful address at the ‘Ideas for India 2025’ Conference held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Speaking at the influential annual summit hosted by Bridge India, Chadha urged global leaders to rethink aid and diplomatic ties with Pakistan, stating that the world must stop rewarding duplicity and terrorism.
“LIES AND LOANS CANNOT GO TOGETHER. DIPLOMACY AND DUPLICITY CANNOT GO HAND IN HAND. TERROR AND TOLERANCE CANNOT COEXIST. BLOOD AND WATER CANNOT FLOW TOGETHER,” SAID CHADHA, ASSERTING THAT INDIA IS COMMITTED TO PEACE BUT WILL RESPOND DECISIVELY TO THREATS.
He praised Operation Sindoor—India’s recent anti-terror military strike—as a symbol of strategic precision, moral clarity, and self-reliant defense capabilities. Citing the recent Pahalgam attack, where 26 civilians were brutally killed, Chadha highlighted India’s non-escalatory but firm cross-border retaliation, targeting terror infrastructure alone.
Participating in a high-level panel discussion on ‘India in a Multipolar World’, the AAP leader shared insights on India’s strategic autonomy, its role as a bridge between the Global North and South, and the rise of youth-led governance in driving national transformation.
“INDIA IS NOT ONLY GROWING ECONOMICALLY BUT IS EMERGING AS A PIVOTAL FORCE IN GLOBAL GEOPOLITICS,” CHADHA NOTED. HE EMPHASIZED THE IMPORTANCE OF STRENGTHENING UK-INDIA TIES, ESPECIALLY THROUGH THE UK-INDIA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, AMID EVOLVING GLOBAL TRADE DYNAMICS.
India Week 2025, which includes the Ideas for India Conference, brings together over 1,100 changemakers, including global policymakers, investors, academics, and Indian diaspora members, to discuss India’s future on the world stage.
Chadha concluded by reiterating India’s firm stance against terrorism and its technological and military progress that continues to define its global leadership role.
