Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that huge conspiracy has been hatched by anti-Punjab forces to destroy Punjab economically and socially by disrupting law and order situation and increasing supply of drugs even as she lambasted Bhagwant Mann government for failure to tackle law and order situation resulting in huge losses to Punjab.
Interacting with media here, Bathinda MP said that a conspiracy has been hatched to spread drugs into each and every corner of the state and for this reason law and order situation has collapsed completely. She said that situation in Punjab was turning bad to worse with each passing day forcing Industry to shift to other states and youth to foreign countries as fear of uncertainty looms large in the state.
She said that every day beings in state with news of loot, murder, dacoity and ransom calls received by people including Industrialists and traders. She said that a common man is scared of coming out of his home due to hostile atmosphere in the state where there is no guarantee of him to return home safely.
She said that gangsters were in high spirits in the state as they have seen that AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann was taking no steps to contain their terror activities. She said that leave aside other crimes, now police stations were being attacked with Rocket launchers.
In evening Mrs. Badal paid obeisance at Dera Sachkhand Ballan and also met Sant Niranjan Dass ji seeking his blessings.
She said that youth and their families were moving abroad seeking Permanent residences in different countries and Punjab was witnessing empty streets in every corner of the state. She said that she has seen that in Doaba area if four shops are open then 6 others were shut. There are no customers or common man visible on streets.
SAD leader said that under two Super CMs including Raghav Chadha and Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was incapable of doing anything. She said that tall claims were made before elections that we will collect Rs. 35000 revenue by containing corruption whereas reality is that corruption in increased manifold in the state and ruling party MLAs were being caught for accepting bribes worth crores of rupees.
She said that after changing SAD led government in the state, no development activity has taken place. Congress government failed to open even a single school or college or establish any new industry. Similar was condition of AAP government. She said that AAP used to claim that they will terminate agreement with power plants after assuming power and reality of the day was that these power plants were supplying power catering to needs of people.
She said that these plants supplied power at Rs. 2.50 per unit whereas AAP government was purchasing power at Rs. 12 per unit from market. She said that Power utility was also crying for its condition as government has failed to provide subsidy amount and in coming days it could collapse rendering Punjab powerless.
Mrs Badal asked CM Bhagwant Mann to wake from slumber and immediately start working for betterment of Punjab. She said that though his government has taken loan of Rs. 40 crore in 11 months but still he can start working for the welfare of people of the state otherwise it will be too late for Punjab.
On the occasion she was accompanied by Former MLA Pawan Kumar Teenu, Kulwant Singh Mannan and Jagbir Singh Brar.
