Aam Aadmi Party Punjab’s State General Secretary, S. Harchand Singh Barsat, expressed his happiness over the granting of bail to AAP’s senior leader, Manish Sisodia, and thanked the Supreme Court.
He described this as a victory of truth, stating that they have full faith in the Honorable Supreme Court because the centre government has been sending senior AAP leaders to jail under false cases with the intent of suppressing opposition voices.
The Supreme Court’s decision has given a strong reply to the dictatorial attitude of the central government. This decision is a victory for the justice system, the emotions, and the trust of the people of the country.
He stated that while it may take time for the truth to come out, it can never be suppressed. The BJP government at the Center, by misusing government agencies, kept Mr. Manish Sisodia imprisoned for 17 months.
If he had committed any scam, some evidence would have surfaced by now, but even after so much time, the central investigative agencies have found no evidence against him. He mentioned that the BJP is continuously filing false cases against opposition parties.
The AAP Punjab State General Secretary said that the entire country is aware of the exemplary work done by Mr. Manish Sisodia in providing quality education to children in Delhi.
The revolutionary changes he brought to the education system have led to significant improvements in Delhi’s government schools, and students are performing well. S. Barsat expressed hope that AAP Supremo Mr. Arvind Kejriwal will also receive justice soon.
