Under the aegis of Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court-cum-Executive Chairman, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar shall be hold State Lok Adalat on 15 july 2023 in Sessions Division, SAS Nagar.
Sh. Harpal Singh, District & Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar apprised that in this State Lok Adalat, cases relating to Motor Accident Claims, Land Acquisition Cases and Family disputesshall be taken up for settlement.
Sh. Baljinder Singh Maan, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar urged the public to settle their cases through Lok Adalat for win-win situation of both the parties.
He further disclosed that decision of a case settled in Lok Adalat shall be final and no appeal or revision lies against it. Court fee affixed by the parties is also refunded if matter is settled in the Lok Adalat.
