Upcoming SGPC Elections In a significant political development, Shiromani Akali Dal (Global) (SADG) has declared its intent to contest all seats in the upcoming Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections in 2024.
Shiromani Akali Dal Global (SADG) Founding Team comprises of S.Harmeet Singh, S.Harleen Kaur Chadha, Sukhwinder Singh Sokhi, Bibi Tarwinder Kaur Khalsa, S.Inder Preet Singh, S.Aman Bandvi, S.Guninder Kaur, S.Kamaljeet Singh Bittu, S.Gunjeet Singh.
The announcement was made by the party’s president, Sardar Inder Preet Singh, who emphasized that SADG’s comprehensive strategy aims to bring transformative changes to Gurudwara management and promote the welfare of the Sikh community.
To ensure a well-rounded and impactful campaign, SADG has formed a dedicated manifesto committee led by the founding team and key office bearers. This committee includes Sardar Aman Bandvi, the general secretary, along with senior vice presidents Sardar Harmeet Singh and Sardarni Harleen Kaur Chadhaa.
The committee will focus on outlining the party’s vision and objectives, ensuring that the manifesto addresses the pressing needs of the Sikh community and aligns with the principles of Gurmat and Sarbat da Bhala.
The party is set to unveil its detailed manifesto at a dedicated press conference in the coming weeks. SADG has also forged alliances with prominent Punjab political activists and leaders, garnering widespread support from citizens dedicated to the cause of SGPC.
The party’s focus extends to sustainable development, the upkeep of holy Gurudwaras, infrastructure improvements, and the welfare of employees and volunteers, reflecting its commitment to impactful initiatives and societal welfare. Since its inception, SADG has been working relentlessly on the ground to understand challenges, issues, and solutions.
