Bollywood’s Hit-Machine, Siddharth Anand, along with co-producer Mamta Anand, are all set to present their next venture – Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins, which marks their debut, not only on OTT, but also with a heist movie genre.
The makers have kept the buzz surrounding the heist movie up, first with a teaser in February 2025, which left the viewers wanting more.
They followed it up with the release of the film’s song Jaadu, which has quickly dominated various music charts across the country and sparked a viral trend on Instagram with countless users creating reels featuring the track. And this has only proven that the interest in the upcoming thriller has only upped with each announcement regarding the project.
The makers finally launched the grand trailer of Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins, which saw filmmaker Siddharth Anand in attendance alongside the film’s impressive ensemble cast including Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nikita Dutta, and Kunaal K Kapoor. And it can be safely said that Marflix Pictures has exceeded all expectations!
From what we saw in the trailer, viewers are guaranteed entertainment, comprising of high-octane action, a gripping storyline, some great comic elements, great performances and some shocking yet amazing and jaw-dropping suspense shots.
Saif Ali Khan plays the master thief, who is hired by Jaideep Ahlawat to steal the coveted Red Sun, but the plot is not as simple as this. With character double-crossing one another, and everybody having hidden agendas of their own, Jewel Thief is guaranteed to deliver a nail-biting viewing experience.
With anticipation building and expectations running high, this Marflix Pictures production is positioned as one of the most awaited digital releases of the season. Not to mention, they are all set to deliver a ‘theatrical-like-experience’ to their viewers, but on OTT.
Fans of the talented cast and Siddharth Anand’s filmmaking won’t have to wait long, as Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 25, promising to deliver an exciting new entry in the heist thriller category.
