Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal has re-constituted the core committee of the party with the induction of 23 members apart from induction of 4 ex officio members.
Disclosing this in a statement here, senior party leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said the core committee had been reconstituted as per the resolution of Working Committee of the party which had entrusted the SAD President S Sukhbir Singh Badal with this responsibility.
The Committee has 23 Members and four Ex-Officio special invitees.
The new core committee is as following – Harjinder Singh Dhami, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Naresh Gujral, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Hira Singh Gabria, Bikram Singh Majithia,
Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Anil Joshi, Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Sohan Singh Thandal, Paramjit Singh Sarna, Manjit Singh GK, Iqbal Singh Jhunda,Prof. Virsa Singh Valtoha, Gurbachan Singh Babehali, Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi, Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, N.K Sharma, Mantar Singh Brar,Harmeet Singh Sandhu and Baldev Singh Khehra as members.
Dr. Cheema further disclosed that Leader of the party in Parliament, President Youth Akali Dal, President Istri Akali Dal and President Legal Wing of SAD will be its Ex-officio members. EOM
