Punjab’s Sushma Bajwa wins 4 Gold Medals in Kettlebell World Championship held in Kyrgyztan

Mrs. Sushma Bajwa, a resident of Derabassi, brought laurels to the country with her determination and work hard. She recently won gold medals in four different events while playing in the veteran women’s category in the Kettlebell World Championship held in Kyrgyzstan.

Along with this, she was also part of the Indian team that won the trophy for third place in this championship. Lt. Col. P.S. Bajwa’s wife Mrs. Bajwa has made her name and the country’s name shine all over the world with this achievement.

She has also added another unique and great achievement in the achievements of Punjab, especially District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. Disclosing about this achievement Mrs. Bajwa said that she has won gold medals in biathlon, jerk, snatch and team relay events in this championship.

She said that she had worked hard for this achievement. Her husband Lt. Col. Mr. P.S. Bajwa and other family members also gave a lot of support in this regard. Apart from this, she is also very grateful to the Kettlebell Sports India Association. The Association made all this possible with its support and by providing a suitable platform.

Mrs. Bajwa said that she would continue to work hard in the future so that the name of the state and the country could shine more brightly. She appealed to the people, especially women, to associate themselves with some sport or the other. She said that there is no age limit for joining sports, a person can join sports at any age.
