With an eye on the potential Assembly bye-elections in the constituencies of Gidderbaha, Barnala, Chabbewal, and Dera Baba Nanak, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab unit has formed dedicated teams of Assembly incharges, co-incharges and Mandal coordinators, to oversee campaign efforts in these regions.
This strategic move aims to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and ensure robust coordination at the grassroots level of all the 18 mandals of these four constituencies.
According to Punjab BJP’s state office secretary Sunil Bhardwaj, Avinash Rai Khanna is in-charge for Gidderbaha Assembly, with Dayal Sodhi as the co-in-charge. For Barnala Assembly, Manoranjan Kalia is in-charge, while Jagmohan Singh Raju is co-in-charge. Similarly, Shwait Malik will oversee Chabbewal Assembly as in-charge, supported by Parminder Brar as the co-in-charge.
For Dera Baba Nanak Assembly, Ashwani Sharma is in-charge, with Rakesh Rathour as his co-in-charge. Additionally, State General Secretary Anil Sarin is in-charge of media, social media, IT, and other administrative responsibilities related to the assembly bye-elections.
In the Mandals falling under Gidderbaha Assembly, Harjot Singh Kamal will be the coordinator and Mona Jaiswal will be the co-coordinator of Gidderbaha (Urban) Mandal, whereas Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi will be the coordinator and Durgesh Sharma will be the co-coordinator of Kot Bhai Mandal.
In Doda Mandal, Harminder Singh Jassi will be the coordinator and Shivraj Chaudhary will be the co-coordinator. Saroop Chand Singla will be the coordinator and Vandana Sangwan will be the co-coordinator of Gurusarr Mandal; and Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal will be the coordinator and Rajesh Pathela will be the co-coordinator of Kotli Ablu Mandal.
In the Mandals falling under Barnala Assembly Constituency, Jagdeep Singh Nakai will be coordinator and Jatinder Mittal will be co-coordinator in Barnala East mandal.
Mandal Handiyaya will have Mangat Rai Bansal as Coordinator and Daaman Thind Bajwa as co-coordinator; and Mandal Dhanaula will have Arvind Khanna as Coordinator and Jiwan Garg as Co-coordinator. Jasbir Singh Brar will be coordinator and Randeep Singh Deol will be co-coordinator for Barnala West mandal.
In the Mandals falling under Chabbewal Assembly Constituency, KD Bhandari will be the coordinator and Bhanu Partap will be the co-coordinator of Chabbewal mandal whereas Jangi Lal Mahajan will be the coordinator and Dinesh Sarpal will be the co-coordinator of Kot Fatuhi mandal.
Sushil Kumar Rinku will be the coordinator and Anil Sacchar will be the co-coordinator of Bham mandal; and Sheetal Angural will be the coordinator and Rajesh Bagha will be the co-coordinator of Aehrana Kalan mandal.
Similarly in the mandals falling under Dera Baba Nanak, Ashwani Sekri will be the coordinator and Manjit Singh Rai will be the co-coordinator of Dera Baba Nanak mandal, while Fatehjang Bajwa will be the coordinator and Rakesh Sharma will be the co-coordinator of Bakshiwal mandal.
Arunesh Shakar will be the coordinator and Sukhwinder Singh Pintu will be the co-coordinator of Ghuman Kalan mandal; whereas Balwinder Singh Laddi will be the coordinator and Gurpartap Singh Tikka will be the co-coordinator of Dhianpur mandal. Harjinder Singh Thekedar will be the coordinator and Rajesh Honey will be the co-coordinator of Kalanor mandal respectively.
