On the return of the pilgrims who visited the shrines in Pakistan on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas, a quick examination done by the health department found some of them to be Covid-19 positive.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that according to the reports received, some pilgrims were found to be Covid-19 infected during the rapid test examination done on the spot at Attari Border, but they are fine as they do not have any physical problem.
She said that the conversations with some of the pilgrims and the leaders of the jatha revealed that none of the pilgrims had any problem, while during the general investigation some of the pilgrims’ reports came back positive.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the pilgrims who have tested positive should follow the instructions of the health department and isolate themselves. She prayed for speedy recovery of the pilgrims.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said, “In case the positive pilgrims are in need of hospitalization, their treatment will be done without any cost at Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital. All the pilgrims who have returned from the Pakistan pilgrimage should stay home-quarantined for a period of 14 days.”
