PAU students Armaanjot Singh and Arshdeep Singh bring laurels at Int’l Conference

Armaanjot Singh, who recently passed out from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) after pursuing B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, has brought laurels to his alma-mater by winning the “Student of the Year Award.

” Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh, an M.Sc. student of the Department of Entomology, has also won the “Best Poster Presentation Award” for presenting a paper on the topic, “Population Dynamics of Galleria mellonela on Apis mellifera in Punjab.”

Both the students received the awards during the ICAR-sponsored International Conference on “Current Innovations and Technological Advances in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (CITAAS-2024),” held at Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, from August 29-31.

Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Manav Indra Singh Gill, Dean, Postgraduate Studies; Dr CS Aulakh, Dean, College of Agriculture; Dr Manjeet Singh, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology; Dr Manmeet Brar Bhullar, Head, Department of Entomology; and Dr Gurdit Singh, Advisor, Assistant Professor (CSE), Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, PAU, congratulated the students for the achievement.
