Ms Nisha, a Ph.D Scholar in the Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been awarded Short-Term Doctoral Fellowship for 2023-24 by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for pursuing research work in doctoral degree.
Her research project, directed by Dr Anil Sharma, Deputy Director (TV), Communication Center, PAU, is focused on “Development and Validation of Instructional Videos on Tomato Cultivation Practices.”
Her goal is to draw attention to the efficiency of ICT tools, in terms of knowledge acquisition and enhance comprehension of the function of these videos as a disseminating tool in agricultural extension.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication and Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head, Department of Extension Education, congratulated the student and her advisory committee, and wished them success in their future endeavours.
