Singer and performer Nora Fatehi has released her latest single ‘Slay to the Rhythm’ from her EP ‘Play’, describing the track as a celebration of music, dance and artistic freedom.
The song, featuring vocals by Nora Fatehi and Ma3iz with music by Sanjoy, follows the success of her earlier tracks ‘Champions’ and ‘Locked In’.
Calling the new release a “summer banger”, Nora said the song pays tribute to dancers and music lovers across the world and highlights the power of rhythm in connecting people.
“This is a summer banger. It’s a tribute to music and dancers all around the world and to the power of rhythm, how it has connected people across the globe and opened so many doors for artists like me,” she said.
Nora added that the song holds special significance for her as an independent artist and producer, marking a new phase in her musical journey.
She said the track is about freedom, self-expression and celebrating the role of music and dance in helping people pursue their dreams. She also expressed hope that the song would encourage listeners to move beyond social judgement and follow their passion.
Earlier this year, Nora released another track, ‘Ya Baba’, on June 25. The song draws inspiration from the popular Tunisian folk classic ‘Sidi Mansour’.
Recalling her connection with the song, Nora said it reminded her of her childhood memories, as she had heard it during weddings and other celebrations.
With ‘Slay to the Rhythm’, Nora continues to expand her presence as an independent music artist while combining her signature dance style with global musical influences.
