Congress party has announced the names of 40 Star Campaigners for the Jalandhar by-poll where Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, wife of late party MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary is fighting the election on the party ticket.
Interestingly the list of 40-star campaigners does not include names of Congress bigwigs Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge even as all these names appear in the list of star campaigners issued for Karnataka Vidhan Sabha polls.
