Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday tore into the Narendra Modi government over handling of the re-NEET (National Entrance cun Eligibility Test) examination after complaints of serious irregularities surfaced in the results. Referring to reports that some students’ OMR (Optimal Marking Recognition) sheets had been replaced while others had been uploaded under the names of different candidates, the AAP Supremo said even the re-examination had failed to inspire confidence. He said the Centre’s inability to conduct a single examination properly reflected its incompetence and had left lakhs of students and their families anxious and helpless.
In a video message on X, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “First, they allowed the NEET paper to be leaked. Now, after the re-examination, serious irregularities have surfaced in the evaluation process as well. A large number of students have complained that their OMR sheets have been replaced, while the OMR sheets of other candidates have been uploaded under their names.”
He further said, “Even in cases where students have received the correct OMR sheets, the marks calculated from those sheets do not match the marks reflected in the final results. When students compared their responses with the official answer key released by the government, the scores were completely different. This has pushed students into tremendous stress. After such large-scale irregularities, where are these children supposed to go for justice?”
Arvind Kejriwal said, “I want to tell PM Modi that if you cannot conduct even one NEET examination properly, how will you run the country? It is now clear why the country has suffered over the past 12 years. Yours is a completely inept and incompetent government.”
