A School of Eminence will be opened every 15 days in Punjab: Bhagwant Mann

Addressing the media at the inauguration of the ‘School of Eminence’ in Amritsar, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal praised Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and said that I am very happy that like Delhi, the Bhagwant Mann government has started the education revolution in Punjab.
Kejriwal said that we have made the government schools in Delhi better. Parents in Delhi are getting their children enrolled in government schools instead of private schools. Now the government schools of Punjab are also being reformed. Government schools of Punjab are now becoming better than private schools here.
Kejriwal mentioned the dialogue of Shahrukh Khan’s new film Jawan. He said that in the film Jawan, Shahrukh Khan is giving the message that do not vote in the name of religion or caste. At the time of elections, when leaders come to ask for your votes, ask them, what will you do for the education of our children? If any member of our family falls ill, what will you do for their treatment? Today, only the Aam Aadmi Party asks people for votes in the name of good education and good health facilities.
Addressing the media, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that during the assembly elections, we gave you a guarantee that after forming the government, we will make the government schools of Punjab better than the private schools. Today we are fulfilling that promise. He added that now every 15 days a ‘School of Eminence’ will be opened in Punjab.
Mann said that the guarantee of good education was our biggest electoral guarantee. Therefore, we worked on improving the education system and government schools on priority basis. Now its results have also started emerging. After the formation of our government, more and more people are getting their children enrolled in government schools.
He said that earlier there was no transportation facility in government schools and this used to obstruct education of many children. We have also made transportation arrangements so that students do not face any problem in commuting to school.
