Losing Panthic ground, Badals forced to issue frivolous statements: Punjab Ministers

Chandigarh, March 19, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)

The Badal father-son duo, who are responsible for sacrilege incidents and government-sponsored attack on innocent Sikhs during their tenure as Chief Minister and Home Minister respectively, are now issuing frivolous statements against the Congress party and state government just to save their own misdeeds.

In a press statement issued today, Cabinet Ministers Mr Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Mr Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Mr Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria said that everyone in Punjab knows that the sacrilege incidents took place because the Badals wanted to stay in power and that was their only motive.

They said that when the Badals realised that they are losing their political ground at a much faster pace, the father-son duo started issuing frivolous, false and misleading statements just to save their own skin.

The ministers said that both Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal are accusing the Congress party for sacrilege incidents because they have lost their mind and it suits the proverb best “Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Daante”. They said that the Badals have lost their mind so much that they have forgotten about the statements that they have themselves given earlier, otherwise they would have never given a statement against their own self.

They said that the point to be noted is that when the sacrilege incidents took place, the Akali Dal was in power in the state, and Parkash Singh Badal was the Chief Minister and Sukhbir Singh Badal was the Home Minister.

They said that if the Congress was a culprit, the Badals should have taken strict action against them as they still had two years left, or maybe they “forgot” due to reasons best known to them. They said that Sukhbir Singh Badal is a habitual victim of forgetting things. They said that when the sacrilege incidents took place in Punjab, Sukhbir Badal had tortured two innocent Sikh boys just to fulfil his own political desires, and had later accused Khalistanis as well as ISI behind these incidents.

And when the Aam Aadmi Party wave was there in the state, Sukhbir had accused AAP behind these incidents and now that the Congress is in power in Punjab, he is accusing the Congress. Maybe he is feeling threatened of the Congress popularity in the state.

The Cabinet Ministers said that Parkash Singh Badal is honest in his admission that cigarettes were thrown in gurudwaras few decades back, but he forgot to clarify that the RSS and Jana Sangh were behind these incidents, with whom the Badals share a close “Naunh-Maas” bond. They alleged that the RSS had committed this heinous act just to divide the Sikh community and following the alleged “tradition”, the Badals followed their footsteps and used Dera votes for committing a sin such as sacrilege.

They said that now that the Akalis have completely lost their panthic ground, they are unsuccessfully trying hard to use this tactic. They said that its an old and known habit of Badals that whenever they are hungry for Sikh votes, they (Badals) try to lure innocent voters in the garb of danger to panth, but they also tear the constitution of India whenever they want to score politically.

They alleged that when the Badals are getting wiped off the political scene, they are using such tactics, which are now well known amongst the Punjabis. They said that the Punjabis are very intelligent and won’t fall prey to their crocodile tears.

They said that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh have reiterated that the culprits of sacrilege incidents won’t be spared at any cost and that is why it has cause discomfort to the Badals.
