The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued orders for the transfer and posting of 17 officers, including two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, along with the assignment of additional responsibilities to others.
IAS Officers Transferred
Tushar Anand and Mukul Beniwal, two IAS officers who were awaiting adjustment, have been assigned new posts:
– Tushar Anand has been posted as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Nyoma.
– Mukul Beniwal has been posted as the SDM of Nubra.
Suhail Ahmad Repatriated to J&K
– Suhail Ahmad, who was serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil and holding the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tourism Development Authority, Kargil, has been repatriated to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for one year at the request of the J&K Government. No replacement for his post has been announced.
Other Key Transfers
– A G Zargar, previously the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Leh with the charge of Deputy District Election Officer, Leh, has been transferred and posted as General Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC) Leh. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of Project Officer (PO) Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Leh, and ACD Leh.
– Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, previously serving as General Manager DIC Leh and holding the charge of PO ICDS Leh, has been transferred to serve as ADC Kargil, while also taking on the role of CEO Tourism Development Authority, Kargil.
– Abdul Majid Tantray, who was the Deputy Secretary (IT, Science & Technology, Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction), has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kargil with additional charge of District Social Welfare Officer, Kargil.
– Raziya Khatoon, formerly the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kargil, with the additional charge of Executive Officer, Municipal Committee (MC) Kargil, has been transferred to the position of ACD Kargil. She will also hold the additional charge of District Panchayat Officer, Kargil.
Other Officer Transfers
– Inzar Rana, previously serving as Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Leh, has been transferred and posted as District Social Welfare Officer, Leh, while retaining additional charge as ARTO Leh.
– Jigmet Raftan, who was serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Executive Councillor/Chairman, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, has been transferred to the UT Secretariat as Under Secretary (IT, Science & Technology, Disaster Management).
– Padma Angmo, formerly the ACD Kargil with additional charge of District Social Welfare Officer, Kargil, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director Tourism, Leh, with additional responsibilities as Deputy District Election Officer, Leh.
– Deachen Chondol, who was serving as Under Secretary (Civil Aviation, Hospitality and Protocol), has been transferred to serve as OSD to the Chief Executive Councillor/Chairman, LAHDC, Leh.
Additional Officer Transfers
– Kaneez Fatima, the Tehsildar Khaltsi, who also held the additional charge of SDM Khaltsi, has been transferred to the position of Headquarters Assistant (HQA) to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kargil, with additional charge of Deputy District Election Officer, Kargil.
– Arifa Iqbal Lone, previously the HQA to DC Kargil, has been transferred to the role of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kargil, with additional charge as Executive Officer, MC Kargil. She will also hold the charge of Assistant Director, Handloom & Handicraft, Kargil.
– Nilza Angmo, who was the HQA to DC Leh, holding additional charge of District Social Welfare Officer, Leh, has been transferred to the UT Secretariat as Under Secretary (Higher Education, Social Welfare, Technical Education & Skill Development).
– Rigzin Yangdol, the Under Secretary (Higher Education, Social Welfare, Technical Education & Skill Development), has been transferred and posted as HQA to DC Leh.
– Mohd Sharief, who was holding the charge of ACR Kargil with additional responsibility as Deputy District Election Officer, Kargil, has been transferred and posted as Tehsildar Khaltsi with additional charge of SDM Khaltsi.
– Gurmet Namgial, previously the SDM Sankoo on officiating basis, has been transferred to the UT Secretariat as OSD to look after Civil Aviation, Hospitality and Protocol Department. The charge of SDM Sankoo has been assigned to Waseem Ramzan, in addition to his own duties.
Additional Responsibilities Assigned
– Manzoor Hussain, Block Development Officer (BDO) Kharu, has been given additional charge of BDO Thiksay.
– Mohd Sadik, Incharge Assistant Director, Pashmina Goat Farm, Nyoma, will hold the additional charge of BDO Nyoma.
– Dr Nasren Fatima, Block Veterinary Officer, Durbuk, has been assigned additional charge of BDO Durbik.
– Dr Rauful Hussain, Incharge Livestock Development Officer, will hold the additional charge of BDO Turtuk.
– Mohd Issa, Soil Conservation Officer, Command Area Development (CAD) Kargil, has been given additional charge of BDO Sankoo.
