Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann who Monday met AAP Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail, alleged that Kejriwal was being treated like a hardcore criminal in jail.
Mann along with party leader Sandeep Pathak, met Arvind Kejriwal for about half an hour.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Mann said that Kejriwal was not allowed a ‘physical and direct meeting’ with them. He was sitting on the other side of a glass and we were on the other side and we talked over the phone. Even the glass was not clear so that we could see each other clearly.
Mann claimed that there was no disruption in the working of the party after the arrest of Delhi CM. “Ours is a disciplined group and everybody in the party is standing like a rock with their jailed leader,” he said.
Punjab Chief Minister claimed that when the results of Lok Sabha elections would be out, AAP would emerge as a strong political force in the country.
