Pictorial art work depicting National Bird of India symbolizing “The Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” was launched by Chief Minister Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant at Chief Minister residence at Goa compiled by Ludhiana based eminent Nature Artist & Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu.
The significant art work presented for the State of Goa showcases Peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers, embodying the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of India to emphasize the need for human’s indispensable bond with nature and share vibrant culture and enrich the states of Goa and Punjab as peacock is considered a symbol of grace, beauty, and elegance it can be often seen in Indian art, mythology, and folklore, representing virtues like integrity and dignity.
Dr. Pramod Sawant Chief Minister Goa acknowledged the rare pictorial art work “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” and described the portrait as an exceptional art work compiled by Punjab based Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu with aim to glorify the significance of our National bird peacock in Goa.
CM Goa stated that this exceptional piece showcases our National Bird in all its glory, highlighting the need to protect its natural habitats and preserve its majestic beauty for our future generations. CM Goa extended congratulations to Harpreet Sandhu for his continued success in all his future endeavors.
The significant art work “The Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” after being launched by Dr. Pramod Sawant Chief Minister Goa was presented to His Excellency P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, Governor of Goa at Raj Bhavan Dona Paula, Senior Judge Mr. Justice Makarand Subhash Karnik High Court of Bombay at Goa and to Jaspal Singh, IPS Director General of Police Goa at Police Headquarters Goa, the said dignitaries stated that the majestic beauty of our National Bird Peacock has been magnificently created by Punjab based Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, as it adds to the natural beauty of peacock not just a bird, but a national icon that represents India’s splendor and cultural ethos and acknowledged the dedicated initiative of Punjab’s eminent nature artist Harpreet Sandhu to highlight the beautiful panoramic image of National bird through his illustrious pictorial art work depicting vibrant culture to enrich the natural theme “The Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” between states of Goa and Punjab
