GLADA demolished 3 illegal colonies as per the order of Sh. Amarinder Singh Malhi, PCS cum Additional Chief Administrator GLADA under the vision of Smt. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu (IAS cum Worthy Chief Administrator GLADA).
Notices to these unauthorized colonies have already been issued under section 39 of PAPR Act 1995 (amended-2014). As per orders a special demolition team has been constituted under able leadership of S. Randeep Singh Heer, PCS cum Estate Officer (Regulatory) GLADA and 2 S.D.E’s GLADA( Suraj Manchanda SDO, Divleen Singh SDO) along with 2 J.E’s(Rohit Goyal and Sangharsh Veer Singh).
Whole demolition drive has been planned by Additional Chief Administrator GLADA. In this demolition GLADA demolished 3 unauthorised colonies in 2 villages Mehmoodpura and Alamgir.
GLADA is also planning more demolition drives in upcoming weeks. Also Chief Administrator GLADA appeals to the general public not to purchase property/plots/buildings in unauthorized colonies as GLADA will not provide any facilities like water supply, sewerage, electricity connections, street lights etc.
