Two groups of students clashed outside Guru Nanak Khalsa College in Abohar. Shots were fired but the bullets didn’t hit anybody.
Fazilka SSP Dr. Pragya Jain said that a call was received at the Police Control Room to which the police responded immediately.
“Some persons have been rounded up. The person who fired from his weapon has also been nabbed and the weapon has been recovered,” she said.
It has been learned that the situation developed due to a dispute regarding the post of president of the college students’ union.
