It is a matter of great pride that Divyam Sachdeva, a Grade 11 student of Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town, has earned a place in Under-19 boys’ badminton team for the World School Games and has become a part of the Indian team, bringing honor to the school.
Recently, in the 68th Badminton Championship organized by the School Games Federation of India in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab’s Under-19 boys’ team made history by winning the gold medal after nearly 21 years.
On this remarkable achievement of becoming a part of the Indian team, Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts, congratulated Divyam and his parents, stating that he deserves this honor.
He expressed pride in having Divyam as a student of the school. On this occasion, Deputy Director of Sports and Principal Mr. Rajeev Paliwal, along with HOD Sports Mr. Anil Kumar, congratulated and encouraged Divyam, extending their best wishes for his bright future.
