The Punjab unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has expressed immense joy over the clear majority received by the BJP and its alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections. The party said that by voting in favor of development, transparent governance, and a stable government, the people of Bihar have made it clear that they do not support negative politics.
Punjab BJP’s Working President Ashwani Sharma welcomed the Bihar results, stating that this victory is a stamp of approval on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hard work, vision, and the people’s trust in him. He added that the people of Bihar have once again chosen the path of development, and these results are encouraging for the BJP nationwide.
He said that the Bihar victory is not merely a political success of one state, but a message for all that people now believe only in work and results. He claimed that just as Bihar rejected the politics of temple–mosque, caste, and false promises to vote for the BJP, a similar change will soon be seen in Punjab as well.
