Bajwa slams AAP for downplaying opposition agendas by altering live footage of Vidhan Sabha Session

Chandigarh, October 1, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
The Leader of Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa countered the Aam Aadmi Party for downplaying the opposition agendas by altering footage during live telecast of Punjab Vidhan Sabha session. He said that the cameras purposely zoom out during the opposition leaders’ address, while the members of the ruling party were shown in a flattering manner. The apparent threat to democracy posed by AAP’s aim to unfairly cover opposition’s addresses serves to illustrate their own anxieties.

AAP leaders are facing a tough time in replying to the questions of oppositions especially during zero hour. As the inexperienced and unqualified members are still not equipped with session proceedings and administrative working which is significantly visible during sessions. I’m hoping that officials in Delhi would see that this inexperienced team needs rigorous training and direction to manage their daily operations.

The people have seen their true colours and corrupt purposes in power, which are far from the goal of benefiting “AAM AADMI,” therefore muting our voice during live sessions won’t help them bury their fake claims and poor policies. A healthy opposition serves as a check on the ruling party and functions as the voice of the people to maintain equality, transparency, and harmony which clearly signifies a healthy democratic setup but this nefarious act of AAP is highly condemnable and a sign of unhealthy politics in Punjab. They have a strong fear of being exposed but knowing their unfair game we will still keep striving and raising our voice in the interest of punjab.
