MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla has demanded that the Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib flight fare should be kept cheap. He said that if the flight starts soon, he will be very grateful. MP Aujla said that he had been trying for this for a long time and he is happy that the difficulty he was feeling for the people has been felt by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu in July and demanded from him to start the Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib flight. After that, a voice was raised in the Lok Sabha in this matter and this demand was continuously made. MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that the flight from Amritsar to Sri Nanded Sahib is very popular and when it used to run earlier, the flight was always full.
After this it was closed but he always raised his voice for the rights of the people and wrote letters to the Aviation Ministry many times. At the same time, it was run again for three months but in 2022 it was closed again. After which there has been a constant demand to run it. According to MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla, this flight is no less than a gift for the devotees.
Devotees coming to Amritsar for the darshan of Sri Darbar Sahib want to go to Sri Nanded Sahib but due to the closure of the flight, they had to face disappointment.
MP Aujla has demanded that all the devotees can take advantage of it, so its fare should be kept low. At the same time, if it is started now, then it should not be closed so that not only the number of darshans of Sri Nanded Sahib will increase, but the number of tourists in Amritsar will also increase.
Services were stopped in early 2022 Amritsar-Nanded flight service was stopped at the beginning of the 2022 assembly. This was not the first time. Earlier, the flight was discontinued on 30 September 2021. After the protest, this flight was restarted on 24 November 2021, which lasted only three months.
The flight used to run three days a week
Before being discontinued in September 2021, this flight was admitted to fly three days a week. But when it was started in November 2021, the flight from Amritsar to Nanded Sahib was scheduled every Wednesday and from Nanded Sahib to Amritsar every Saturday. But now it was discontinued again.
Appeal was made for the first flight
When the flight started for the first time, MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla had appealed to the people that maximum number of passengers should board this flight and visit Sri Nanded Sahib. This time also he has appealed that if the flight starts then it should be used as much as possible so that the company is forced to keep it running.
