Punjab New and Renewable Energy Minister Aman Arora on Saturday termed education as the key for overall development of a person.
He was addressing the gathering during 22nd annual function of Swami Mohan Dass Model School wherein he urged students to being socio-economic change in the society by acquiring education in their lives.
He lauded the Swami Mohan Dass Model School for inculcating Indian values in students along side world class education.
He said with the blessings of Swami Mohan Dass Ji and under the leadership of Guru Maa Soma Devi Ji, this institute has emerging pioneer in the field of education besides infusing Indian values among children, thereby making them a responsible citizen.
Accompained by Senior AAP leader Deepak Bali, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, Pawan Kumar Teenu, the Minister said besides ensuring comprehensive development of a person education open new vistas for the individual in varied fields.
The Minister said that the Punjab Government has already prioritized field of education and Health by bringing revolutionary transformation in this sector. Opening of school of eminence, smart schools, training of school teachers in abroad, etc. are some of the key steps that have ensure promising results in the education segment.
He also told the students that the three golden principles of hard-work, dedication and perseverance could be instrumental in ensuring success of students.
He asked the students to adopt these principles along with discipline to succeed in life. Earlier, Management Committee comprising Chairman Lavlinder Verma, Secretary Sunita Sharma, Vice President Harnek Dhillon, and Principal Jatinder Kaur welcomed the Minister upon his arrival at the annual event.
