This year’s literary meet of Punjabi Sahit Sabha Lehragaga was dedicated to the martyrdom day of Mata Gujjar Kaur Ji and Chhote Sahibzade Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh Ji. This literary meeting was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Nirmala Garg, a litterateur, the talented daughter of the famous poetess of Punjab, Kavishar Shri Naseeb Chand Ji.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Seema Goyal, wife of Cabinet Minister in Punjab Government, and MLA from Lehragaga constituency ,Advocate Barinder Goyal, National Award, retired teacher and eminent scholar, Madam Kanta Goyal, current President, Municipal Council, Lehragaga, Smt. Nirmala Garg, Punjabi litterateur, Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan,Scholar, actor and artist, S. Avtar Singh Chotian, Chief Editor, ‘ Naviyan kalman Navi Udaan’, Sangrur.
Mrs. Anita Arora Patran, Tarsem Khashpuri Punjabi Lyricist, International Punjabi Commentator Dharma Hariau, Head Master C. Arun Garg Block Nodal Officer Munak, Master Kuldeep Singh Punjabi Kavi, Gurcharan Singh Dhanju, Punjabi Lecturer and In-charge Principal Kirandeep Bange, Punjabi Litterateur Fateh Randhawa, Khushprit Singh Harigarh, Madam Sarbjeet Ritu and Madam Sukhwinder Kaur Pinki were present.
At this time, the litterateurs, through their works, paid homage to the importance of the month of Poh and the sacrifices of the family of Sahib-e-Kamaal Si Guru Gobind Singh.
In the meeting, a book ‘Personal Diaries of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha 1901-1938 AD’ prepared with the hard work of about ten years under the editorship of Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan and Dr Ravinder Kaur Ravi former assistant Professor of Punjabi University ,Patiala was also presented to Madam Seema Goyal, wife of Minister Punjab Government Advocate Shri Varinder Goyal.
In the meantime, the wise scholar of the area, Sh. Avtar Singh Chotian, has written a book edited by him, “Naviyan kalman Navi Udaan’,. Presented to Jagmail Singh Bhathuan.
Madam Seema Goyal and Madam Kanta Goyal, while presenting their views on the Shaheedi Sabha, remembered the sacrifices of Guru Ji and family and presented flowers of Sardha and thanked the litterateurs who came.
