National Lok Kalyan Party Announces to contest Delhi Vidhan Sabha Elections

The National Lok Kalyan Party (NLKP) made a significant political declaration during a press conference held at the Press Club, New Delhi. The event, which was presided over by the NLKP’s national and Delhi state leadership, marked a pivotal moment in the political landscape of the capital as the party officially announced its intent to contest all 70 seats in the upcoming Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections.

The conference underscored NLKP’s strategy to redefine governance in Delhi, with bold policy commitments that seek to challenge and reform the status quo. The announcements further strengthened NLKP’s political ambitions beyond Delhi, with a focus on expanding into Punjab and forming key alliances.

NLKP will contest all 70 seats in the Delhi Vidhan Sabha elections.
NLKP will field candidates for the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections in 2027.
NLKP has officially forged a political alliance with the National Panthers Party (Delhi State).
The Shiromani Akali Dal (Global) (SADG) — the organization originally focused on Gurudwara elections — forms the foundational base of NLKP’s ethos, “Sarbat Da Bhala” (Welfare for All).

Sardar Inder Preet Singh, Founding President of NLKP, laid out the party’s strategic national vision. He emphasized that NLKP stands for governance that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and a people-first approach.

He reiterated NLKP’s commitment to the concept of Sarbat Da Bhala, explaining that the party is inspired by the vision of Shiromani Akali Dal (Global) and is driven to bring an inclusive model of governance that seeks the welfare of all, irrespective of caste, creed, or economic status.

He stressed, “We are here to address the most pressing issues facing the common man—ranging from inflation to unemployment. Our leadership will not rest until we create a system where every Delhiite feels heard and supported.”

Sardar Harmeet Singh, Vice President and National Spokesperson, introduced key members of NLKP’s national leadership. He spoke about the party’s flagship campaigns, which target critical concerns in Delhi such as healthcare, unemployment, and education reform.

“Our focus is to bring real change through on-the-ground impact initiatives,” he said, adding that NLKP’s unique approach will be rooted in its policy-driven governance, which will be fueled by accountability and action. He further emphasized NLKP’s resolve to tackle Delhi’s concerns head-on, combining political intervention with long-term solutions to uplift marginalized communities.

Bibi Harleen Kaur, Vice President and Head of the Women’s Wing, who is also the spiritual head of The Satkarmic Trust, highlighted NLKP’s deep commitment to spirituality and public service. “Politics is not just about power; it’s about purpose. At NLKP, we believe in leading with empathy, ensuring inclusivity in every decision we make.

From policies on women empowerment to community welfare, our governance model will embrace diversity and work to unify, not divide,” she affirmed. Her focus was on creating an inclusive political space where public service aligns with spiritual values.

Sardar Aman Bandvi, Secretary General, outlined NLKP’s bold vision for employment and youth engagement in Delhi. He announced the formation of the Delhi State Employment Policy, which will be pivotal in driving job creation and providing opportunities for young people. He also introduced the NLKP Youth Manifesto, which is set to be a game changer in the national political landscape.

“Delhi’s youth are its greatest asset, and NLKP is committed to nurturing this potential by providing pathways for employment, entrepreneurship, and education,” he remarked. He also introduced The DELHI Alliance, an alliance of political parties bound by shared values of inclusivity, development, and good governance.

Shri Arun Kumar Sharma, Delhi State President, provided insight into NLKP’s DELHI Campaign—an agenda built on five pillars:

Development, Education, Livelihoods, Healthcare, and Innovative Governance. Sharma emphasized that the focus of the campaign is on effective execution of these promises. “It is not enough to plan; what matters is delivering results. NLKP’s governance will be rooted in action, and we will ensure that every promise made is fulfilled through transparent and effective implementation,” he stated.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Delhi General Secretary, introduced the framework of Delhi’s Voice, Delhi’s Choice—an extensive engagement program that involves dialogue with citizens to shape the party’s manifesto.

He explained that NLKP’s manifesto will be a direct reflection of the concerns of Delhiites, shaped through public input. “Every candidate we field will go through stringent scrutiny to ensure they are truly representative of the people,” he said.

Arun Kumar Singh, Organisation Secretary, focused on the importance of the grassroots movement within NLKP. He outlined the party’s plans for an expansive membership drive aimed at empowering local communities and increasing citizen participation in governance. He also discussed the creation of a strong organizational structure to support party activities at every level.

Bibi Tarwinder Kaur Khalsa, Head of the Delhi State Women’s Wing, reinforced NLKP’s dedication to women empowerment.

“We are committed to creating opportunities for women to lead, participate, and thrive in our governance model. Our approach will ensure inclusivity in decision-making processes,” she affirmed, highlighting the party’s compassionate and inclusive governance model.

Rajeev Jolly Khosla, President of the National Panthers Party (Delhi State), announced the strategic alliance with NLKP.
