The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab on Sunday announced its new team of state office bearers after State President Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon unveiled the appointments with the approval of the party’s National President, Shri Nitin Nabin.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational structure across Punjab and preparing the organisation for its political and electoral responsibilities in the coming years.
A total of 12 leaders have been appointed as State Vice Presidents. They include Surjit Kumar Jyani, Rakesh Rathour, Subhash Sharma, Manjit Singh Rai, Ashwani Sekhri, Sushil Rinku, Geja Ram Valmiki, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Jasmine Sandhawalia, Jatinder Mittal, Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon and Ranjit Singh Gill.
Five leaders—Anil Sarin, Rajesh Bagha, Parminder Singh Brar, Rajnish Dhiman and Jiwan Garg—have been named State General Secretaries, while 12 party leaders have been appointed as State Secretaries.
The party has also filled several key organisational positions. Gurdev Sharma (Debi) has been appointed State Treasurer, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy as Co-Treasurer, Khushwant Rai Giga and Sanjeev Khanna as State Protocol Secretaries, and Sukhvinder Singh Parmar as State Office Secretary.
In the communication and digital outreach teams, Kanwar Inderjeet Singh has been appointed State IT Convener, while Ajay Arora will head the Social Media wing as State Convener.
The BJP also announced the presidents of its various Morchas. Anuj Khosla will lead the Yuva Morcha, Biba Jai Inder Kaur the Mahila Morcha, Lakhwinder Singh the Kisan Morcha, Sheetal Angural the SC Morcha and Shivraj Chudhary the OBC Morcha.
To strengthen the party’s media and public outreach, S.S. Channi has been appointed Chief Spokesperson. Vineet Joshi will serve as State Media Head, while Pritpal Singh Baliawal and Parampal Kaur Sidhu have been named State Media Co-Incharges.
The State Cell coordination team will be headed by Bikramjit Singh Cheema as State Cell Coordinator, with Harwinder Singh Sandhu, Bhanu Partap Singh and Er. Kanwarveer Singh Tohra serving as State Cell Co-Coordinators.
Congratulating the newly appointed office bearers, Kewal Singh Dhillon expressed confidence that the new team would work with dedication and discipline to strengthen the BJP across Punjab. He said the office bearers would play a key role in expanding the party’s organisational reach, connecting with all sections of society and effectively implementing the party’s programmes and policies throughout the state.
