YouthVibe 2026, the grand global fest at Lovely Professional University (LPU), infused the campus with an electric festive energy, brought alive by star studded performances and vibrant celebrations.
The 9th edition of the mega fest witnessed participation from over 30+ educational institutions, featuring 20+ competitions and events across dance, music, fashion, literary arts, sports, social media, and technology, with prizes worth over ₹9 lakh adding to the excitement.
A dynamic celebration of music, creativity, and youthful expression unfolded across the campus, with the opening evening drawing a massive response as Farhan Akhtar’s live performance created an immersive musical experience. The energy carried forward with MJ5, the celebrated dance crew, delivering a performance marked by precision and intensity, while DJ Ekta kept the momentum alive with a high energy set. Adding to the spectacle, the drift car show brought a distinct thrill, captivating the audience.
The fest witnessed engaging cinematic moments as Binnu Dhillon and Payal Rajput connected with students during their film promotion, blending entertainment with interaction. Comedy added its own dimension, with Madhav Mehandru’s sharp, relatable humor and Rajat Sood’s lively performance keeping audiences thoroughly engaged, while leading brands also connected with students as Burger King India and Coca Cola introduced “Feast on Wheels” at LPU, including a chef’s competition where students prepared burgers.
Competitions such as Dance Odyssey, Battle of Bands, and the Punjabi Folk Legends Bhangra Cup displayed strong performances, while platforms like Tech Titans Arena and social media challenges reflected innovation and creativity. The Myntra Glam Fashion Show at UniPolis introduced a distinct style narrative, where participants presented confident and expressive looks aligned with evolving trends. Sports leagues in football, cricket, chess, and badminton further contributed to a well rounded and inclusive festival experience.
Dr. Col. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, stated that platforms like these extend beyond celebration, serving as dynamic spaces for learning and exchange. Dr. Mittal shared that when students from diverse institutions come together, they not only present their talent but also gain meaningful exposure to varied perspectives, cultures, and ideas. The mega fest concluded with Sonam Bajwa and Paramvir Singh Cheema engaging with students, sharing candid moments that made the closing ceremony both lively and memorable.
