In a horrific incident, an ex-serviceman killed five members of his family including his mother and brother in a Haryana village.
The incident has been reported from Narayangarh in Ambala, where an ex-serviceman Bhushan Kumar committed the crime due to a land dispute within the family.
Bhushan Kumar attacked his family members with a sharp-edged weapon on Sunday night when all of them were asleep killing five of them on the spot.
Those dead include his mother, brother, brother’s wife, and two children of the couple.
Two people including a 7-year old daughter of his brother suffered grievous injuries. The girl has been referred to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition.
After killing his family members, Bhushan Kumar tried to burn the dead bodies in the cremation ground of the village.
However, the Sarpanch of the village informed the police, which reached the cremation ground at around 3.00 AM and took possession of the mutilated and partially burnt bodies. The accused fled when the police arrived.
The condition of a seven-year-old girl is critical and has been referred to PGI Chandigarh.
The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
