13 IAS Officers Transferred in Telangana – THE LIST

Hyderabad, November 11, 2024 (Yes Punjab News)

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the state government on Monday announced the transfer of 13 IAS officers, leading to new assignments and responsibilities across various departments.

1. D. Krishna Bhaskar: Currently serving as Special Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Secretary of Finance and Planning (FAC), Krishna Bhaskar has now been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of TG Transco. This transfer relieves Sandeep Kumar Sultania from his additional charge of the post. Krishna Bhaskar will also continue to hold FAC as Special Secretary to the Deputy CM.

2. K. Ilambarithi: Previously holding the position of GHMC Commissioner as FAC, Ilambarithi, who is also the Transport Commissioner, has now been appointed as the full-time GHMC Commissioner.

3. Smita Sabharwal: Former Member-Secretary of the Telangana State Finance Corporation (TSFC), Smita has been posted as Secretary of the Youth Advancement, Tourism, and Culture Department. She takes over from N. Sridhar, who previously held this position as FAC. Smita will continue to hold FAC of the TSFC Member-Secretary role and as Director of Archaeology.

4. E. Sridhar: The outgoing Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise, Sridhar is now posted as Secretary of the Backward Classes (BC) Welfare Department, relieving Burra Venkatesham from FAC of the role. Sridhar will also assume the role of Commissioner of Endowments (FAC), replacing Zendage Hanumant Kondiba.

5. Anita Ramachandran: Previously the Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Anita has been transferred to the position of Secretary for Women and Child Welfare and the SC Department, relieving T.K. Sreedevi from her FAC duties.

6. K. Surendra Mohan: The Secretary of Mines and Geology and the Irrigation and CAD Department, Surendra Mohan has been reassigned as the Commissioner of Transport, succeeding K. Ilambarithi.

7. Chevvuru Hari Kiran: Having awaited a posting, Hari Kiran is now appointed as Director of Prohibition and Excise, taking over from E. Sridhar.

8. Siva Sankar Lotheti: Previously awaiting a new role, Lotheti has been appointed as the CEO of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, relieving R.V. Karnan from the FAC duties.

9. G. Srijana: Also awaiting a posting, Srijana has been assigned as Director of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, succeeding Anita Ramachandran.

10. Chittem Lakshmi: With no prior assignment, Chittem Lakshmi is now posted as Director of AYUSH, relieving Christina Z. Chongthu from her FAC role.

11. S. Krishna Aditya: Formerly the Director of Labour, Krishna Aditya has been reassigned as the Director of Intermediate Education and Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Education, replacing A. Sridevasena (FAC). He will also assume the role of Vice-Chairman and Managing Director (VC & MD) of the Telangana Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation as FAC, relieving E.V. Narsimha Reddy.

12. Sanjay Kumar: Principal Secretary of Labour, Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as FAC of the Commissioner of Labour, taking over the responsibilities of Krishna Aditya.

13. Gaurav Uppal: Resident Commissioner of Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, Gaurav Uppal has now been designated as FAC as Secretary (Coordination) of the General Administration Department.

The reshuffle aims to strengthen the state’s administrative framework by appointing experienced IAS officers to key positions across various departments. The transfers reflect a strategic shift by the state government to ensure efficient administration and governance.
