Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced assistance to the families of 7 persons belonging to Banur in District Mohali who drowned in the Gobind Sagar Lake at Una in Himachal Pradesh during a tragic accident that occurred on Monday.
Expressing deep grief over this accident, Mr. Mann has announced an aid of one lakh rupees for all the affected families. This assistance will be given from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The Chief Minister in a tweet said the value of human life cannot be measured in any currency, yet by sharing the suffering with the families of the victims, their grief could be reduced to some extent. Financial assistance of Rs.1 lakh will be given out of Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
