Punjab Pradesh Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu has appointed former IPS and Punjab DGP Mohammad Mustafa as his Principal Strategic Advisor.
Sidhu handed over a ‘letter of appointment’ to Mustafa in the presence of Mustafa’s wife and Punjab Cabinet Minister Razia Sultana.
Sidhu shared the decision with a Tweet saying Mustafa would also, act as PCC Coordinator with the AICC on issues pertaining to his domain and any other matters that the President may deem fit.
Earlier, Mustafa has refused to accept his appointment as Advisor to Navjot Sidhu. Mustafa was one among the four persons appointed as Advisors. The other three were Fatehgarh Sahib MP Dr Amar Singh, Dr Piare Lal Garg and Malwinder Singh Mali.
