Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) fields Desraj Singh Dhugga from Sham Chaurasi

Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) has fielded former MLA, Mr. Desraj Singh Dhugga as its candidate from ShamChaurasi Assembly constituency in Doaba region.

However, this announcement brings the total number of candidates announced by party to 13.

Divulging more details in this regard, Mr. Maninderpal Singh Brar, Office Secretary and Spokesperson of the party said that the name of Mr. Desraj Singh Dhugga was announced from the party headquarters on Saturday under the signature of, Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, President of the party and Member Rajya Sabha.

Mr. Desraj Singh Dhugga, a prominent politician of Punjab especially in Doaba region has served as three time MLA and Chief Parliamentary Secretary in the Punjab Government.

Mr. Desraj Singh Dhugga has been working for the welfare of the SC community from the very beginning.
