Actress Sharvari has shared an emotional story behind her latest promotional look for her upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, revealing how she transformed her mother’s treasured pink Patola saree into a special outfit.
Taking to Instagram, the Munjya actress recalled that her mother gifted her the saree after watching “Jhumka Patola” for the first time. Sharvari said she was deeply moved by the love and pride in her mother’s eyes as she handed over the garment as a blessing.
The saree is a family heirloom that her mother had worn over the years and associated with several cherished memories.
Sharvari said reinventing something so precious to her mother and wearing it during the film’s promotions made the experience particularly meaningful. She also revisited old photographs of her mother wearing the saree before showing her its new look.
“Going through old pictures of her wearing it, and then seeing her reaction to what we created was just priceless,” she wrote.
Describing the emotional significance of wearing the outfit, the actress said it felt like being wrapped in her mother’s love and blessings as she continued her professional journey.
