Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal desired to conquer hate that was spread against Sikh community: Dal Khalsa on US cop’s killing

The Dal Khalsa is saddened to hear the news of killing of Deputy Sheriff Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal in Houston, US.

Party spokesman Kanwar Pal Singh said Dhaliwal would always be remembered for outstanding and exemplary conduct and service.

‘He desired to conquer hate that was spread against his community by serving as a diligent turbaned Sikh police officer. Our condolences and prayers go to his family and friends’, said Kanwar Pal Singh.

Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal made headlines after becoming the first police officer to gain a religious exemption to wear a turban as part of his uniform while serving in the US police department.
