Shiromani Akali Dal today asked the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to prove his sincerity on charges against Captain Amarinder Singh by breaking all ties with the Congress High Command, especially the Gandhi family, which had imposed Amaridner Singh on Punjab and the Congress for more than five decades including over nine years as Chief Minster .
“ Even you have a lot of explaining to do for remaining his most trusted side kick (Chamcha) during these years, especially, as you were begging a meeting with him only four days ago which he refused. Please also share what has happened in these four days to reveal Amaridner’s anti national and traitorous character,”
In a statement here, Senior Akali leader Mr Maheshinder Singh Grewal also told Mr Randhawa, “ You are the Home Minister now. If you seriously believe that as Chief Minsiter of Punjab Amarinder was traitor and was indulging in anti national activities through proximity with Aroosa Alam, a Paksitani ISI agent, then act against him and book him on charges of conspiring against the country with a Pakistani agent.
“You should also explain why you kept spending long evenings and nights in the company of Amrinder and Aroosa in private parties which were not even a part of his official duties.”
Otherwise, you should resign and admit that you were also a partner in all the crimes Amarinder committed, and repent.. We are glad that at least you are confessing all those crimes now.” Quipped SAD leader
Mr Grewal further said, “The whole Punjab knows that you were his biggest confidant and the biggest executioner of his plans. Now that those plans have been exposed, you want to convince us that you were not a part of his crimes.
This will not wash .Even today, you are being advised the same Captain Sandeep Sandhu who was the main adviser of Captain Amaridner Singh shared space with you in today’s press conference. Isn’t that a strange coincidence? Or did you forget to hide your association with Amarinder’s right hand men even today?”
The Akali leader dared Mr Randhawa to “ display honesty and courage and declare declare that you will not walk with the Gandhi family who supported Amarinder for decades. Now, be brave and act on your own words. ”
The Akali leader said that that SAD was glad that Randhawa and other Congressmen have now started confessing that all the allegations which SAD had leveled against Amarinder were true.
