SAD and AISSF condemn killings of Sikhs in Pakistan, urge new govt to ensure safety

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today expressed its grief over the killing of two Sikhs in Peshawar, Pakistan. He appealed to the new federal government of Pakistan and the provincial government of the troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region to ensure the safety of the Sikh minority in that country.

Two Sikhs, formally known as NWFP, were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Sarband area of ​​Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The victims were shopkeepers selling spices in Sarband’s Bata Tal Bazaar.
They are identified as Saljit Singh, 42, and Ranjit Singh, 38.
