Actress Swara Bhaskar and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary engaged in a heated confrontation on reality show “Rise and Fall Season 2” after Priyanka refused to support Gautam Gulati during the Gautam City task.
The Gautam City task was positioned as a pathway to the Ultimate Ruler throne, with Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawalla in contention. Gautam’s former friend-turned-rival Priyanka had an opportunity to support him but backed out after the task began.
“Hurt ho raha hai mujhe rise and fall,” Priyanka said, explaining her decision.
Kaira and Niharika also sabotaged Gautam’s game, while Karan Patel asked Priyanka to switch if she was in a position to do so. Priyanka refused, saying she would not support anyone after being accused of something she claimed was untrue.
Her decision angered Swara, who questioned Priyanka over the Prize Pot and accused her of taking away Rs 32 lakh from the group, including Rs 7 lakh belonging to her.
“You are also the same as the people you talk about. You are no different from them, so drop this mask,” Swara told Priyanka.
When Priyanka said, “I am saying I am bad,” Swara replied that the accusation against her was therefore true.
The argument escalated when Priyanka again refused to participate. Swara accused her of disrespecting the other contestants, the show and the workers involved in the task, and told her to leave the game if she was unwilling to continue.
Priyanka called Swara a “dictator”, while Swara responded by calling her a “chor”.
The confrontation continued as the two contestants argued over the task and Priyanka’s decision. Before heading to the Penthouse, Swara made another pointed remark about Priyanka’s appearance and character, saying that glamorous clothes and expensive imported makeup could not hide what she described as the “ugliness” of her character.
Swara later told Niharika that she had written a note for Priyanka, reiterating that “no amount of glamorous clothes and expensive makeup” could hide what she called her “inherent shitiness”.
Produced by Banijay Asia, “Rise and Fall Season 2” is hosted by Virender Sehwag.
