Under a special placement drive, 2 students namely Mr. Sonu and Ms. Rajtarangini Kala of Textile department of Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology (GZSCCET), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda have been selected for recruitment by the Reliance Industries Ltd. as Polyester Graduate Engineering trainee.
The Company have offered attractive 6 lacs per annum packages to the selected students.
Various reputed firms have also approached the department for the recruitment of Textile graduates as well.
Dr. Anupam Kumar, Professor and Head of the department said that the department has been taking all necessary steps for the placement of the students.
Before the start of the placement session, technical ability tests and mock interviews were organized by the training and placement department for the personality development of the students .
While congratulating the students for their success, MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu reiterated his commitment for better employability and employment for the students of the university.
Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Campus Director, Prof. Ashok Goel, Harjot Singh Sidhu, Director (Training and Placement, MRSPTU), CRC Professor Incharge Dr. Rajesh Gupta and Rajinder Singh Smagh also congratulated the selected students.
