Hasty enactment undertaken by the Rajya Sabha raising the limit of FDI in the insurance sector from 49% to 75 % is another mortal blow to the Public Sector in our country. Criticising this anti-people, anti-national act of privatisation of the Modi Government; Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla,General Secretary Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) has stated in a press statement issued here today, that in addition to further curtailing the employment avenues this dicsion will deprive of the Government from the assured capital badly needed for the pro-people developmental requirements of the country.
Whereas the corporate will have more money at their disposal for garning more and more profits through exploitation of the masses .
Mr. Pasla also condemned the Haryana State Government for hurriedly adopting an undemocratic bill in the assembly imposing heavy penalties on the people for the so called damage to the public and private property. He claimed that it is explicitly directed to suppress the ongoing Farmers movement against 3 black laws.
He future stated that this BJP-JJP Government will miserably fail in brow beating the farmers and other working people through such draconian measures. It should rather press upon the Modi Sarkar to shun it’s false pride and repeal the anti farmers acts immediately and settle other demands of the peasantry including legalisation of MSP.
Mr. Pasla called upon the entire people, especially the working class to raise their strong voice against the Modi Sarkar for handing over the Public Sector, built with the hard work and immense contribution of the toiling masses, to the private sector.
