Chandigarh, March 10, 2026:
The Punjab Government on Tuesday ordered the transfer and posting of three Punjab Civil Services (PCS) officers on administrative grounds with immediate effect. The orders were issued by the Department of Personnel (IAS Branch) with the approval of the Governor of Punjab.
According to the official notification signed by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha, the reshuffle involves Gurinder Singh Sodhi, Harjot Kaur and Rupali Tandon, who have been assigned additional responsibilities along with their existing postings.
Gurinder Singh Sodhi
Shri Gurinder Singh Sodhi, PCS (2016), who is presently serving as Additional Managing Director, PUNSUP, has been assigned the additional charge of Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab. He will continue to hold his current post while discharging the additional responsibilities.
Harjot Kaur
Smt. Harjot Kaur, PCS (2022), currently posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Dudhan Sadhan, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Assistant Commissioner (General), Patiala. She will relieve Shri Amandeep Singh Mavi, PCS, of the additional charge.
Rupali Tandon
Smt. Rupali Tandon, PCS (2025), who is presently working as Deputy Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Punjab State Commission for Minorities, while continuing to hold her current assignment.
The government has directed the officers concerned to assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect.
