Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and postings of 16 IPS nd 2 PPS officers with immediate effect.
The transferred officers include Jaskaran Singh IPS, the Commissioner of Amritsar Police. He has been posted as IGP Intelligence, Punjab at SAS Nagar.
Naunihal Singh, IPS available for posting on promotion has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.
