Today the Governor Punjab His Excellency Gulab Chand Kataria released a pictorial brochure titled, “Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” in presence of Padma Shri Bhai Harjinder Singh Srinagar wale at Punjab Raj Bhawan Chandigarh., the brochure has been authored by State Information Commissioner Punjab Harpreet Sandhu and the pictorial brochure depicts the visuals of the historical shrines where Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib left his footprints, during his life span.
The pictorial brochure is dedicated to the ongoing 405th birth year and 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, compiled with aim to project the universal teachings of world peace, protection of human rights and promotion of human solidarity as articulated by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib through his supreme sacrifice and a pious tribute to the sacred memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, portraying vivid historical facts and pictorial depictions of the sacred shrines..
Governor Punjab Gulab Chand Katarina acknowledged the meaningful pictorial work initiated by State Information Commissioner, Punjab Harpreet Sandhu as noble contribution for the society showcasing the life Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and said that the publication encapsulates the spiritual upliftment teachings and legacy of Ninth Sikh Guru.
Padma Shri Bhai Harjinder Singh Srinagar wale said that this pictorial brochure authored by Harpreet Sandhu ,State Information Commissioner Punjab is aligned with the upcoming 350th Martyrdom day of Ninth Sikh Guru Sahib and stands as a heartfelt tribute to “Hind Di Chadar” Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib who occupies a special place in our hearts as he had sacrificed his life to uphold the principles of religious freedom, social harmony and universal human rights.
